Problems with save the maps

Hello at the first

I'm new at this board and yesterday i have loaded down some maps. I'm lucky that I've found new maps for Railroad Tycoon 3, but if I want save the games, my computer crashed.
I've looked at my computer by the program railroad tycoon 3, it shows the saved games (2 maps from this board) as pics. Its not the same fsaved format as the games from Railroad Tycoon 3 themselfe.

Who can help me or have the same problem?

Some of the maps that can be downloaded from here are built by players using the 1.06 "unofficial" patch, which introduces new cargoes and other elements to the game. If you don't have this patch installed, then the game will crash when it tries to save. Other maps may list 1.05 (the last official patch) as required, so just make sure that you have patched your game to the appropriate level for the scenario.

Hi Monika, welcome to the group. A fine bunch of folks hang out here. Saves will also sometimes crash if you don't have all the "User Extra Content" that goes along with a particular scenario. Logos, graphics files for rolling stock etc. need to be in the right folder (/Data/UserExtraContent).

Today I have tried to install the patch 1.06, but i get always the message RT3. can't get open it. Sorry my english is bad, perhaps you can understand what i mean.

Before you can install the 1.06 patch, you need the Coast to Coast Expansion and the 1.05 patch installed.

Are you running Windows Vista?

BTW! No need to apologize for your English. You're doing fine. Since it's not your native language it's understandable that it won't be perfect. As a matter of fact, there is some whose native language is English and they can't get it right .

Now i have try some versions to install this patch 1.06.

At the first i have download this components Coast Expansion and the 1.05 patch installed and i try to install this patch 1.06. But i get always the message. It calls to english: RT3.exe can't get open.
I have put this RT3.exe in the file = 1. filename UserExtraContent, 2. and then patches, right? And then i get this message, look above.

No, it does not go in the 'user extra content folder'. You install the 1.06 patch in the main RRT3 folder. "C:\Programme\Railroad Tycoon 3\"

I use the German language.

Now i have try to this patch in the rt3-folder and it get this message:

Perhaps can here someone else German too: To translate is difficult for me.
