Problems with getting logged out?

Over the past couple of days a couple of folks have reported that they are starting to have problems with getting logged out when trying to make a post.
I've looked into this matter and have made an adjustment to the cookie setting that - I hope - will clear this situation up.
You may have to clear your browser cache and delete the cookie from hawkdawg.com and accept a new cookie.

I'm still studying this matter and will report back here if I find anything new.

Apparently these members can still use the Private Message system so if you're still having problems posting please send me a PM.
If this corrects the problem, please post in this thread.

It would help me if you let me know which browser you're using and which version of that browser. It seems it could be a browser issue also. In particular IE7.

Not sure that meant much as I had to log in to start with as the IE cookie jar was empty.

These were from work. Will try from home computer later tonight Hawk where I think I have NetScrape, that Firefox that screws up and I may have IE7.

If it doesn't work you'll know because you won't be able to make a post.
You can type the message but as soon as you hit the Submit button you get logged out and the post won't submit.

OK! I cleared my Firefox cache and deleted the hawkdawg.com cookie. So let's see if this post goes through using Firefox.

Edit 1: Successful. Next I'll try IE7.

Edit 2: I cleared IE7 cache and cookies. Let's see if it works.

Edit 3: Posted OK using IE7. Next I'll try IE6.

Edit 4: Just for kicks I tried IE7 again. - Success!

Edit 5: Opera test. - Success!

Edit 6: Safari test. - Success!

Edit 7: Netscape test. - Success!

Did you delete the cookie and clear your browser cache?

You should do this just to make sure you're working with the refreshed cookie and have a clean cache of the forum since I made the changes.

Nope! For everyones' personal security the password is encrypted for me, or anyone else. It's in the database but it's hashed - unreadable to me.

Are you still having problems or is that cleared up? Apparently it's cleared up.

AOL is what i was using. The problem seems to be mostly gone today, despite my still not clearing cookies or cache.
