The board is set up to allow a user 1 hour (3600 seconds) before they are logged out for that session.Gwizz wrote:Darn I made a long post and got logged out losing my post.

Re: From another thread!
This has happened to me, also. I suggest that if you are going to make a long post, do it in a 'word processor' first then copy and paste it back here. Especially those who are helping out others and are 'long winded' to boot. (My recipes in the Caboose forum tripped my up on this one awhile back.)

If it looks like 1 hour is going to be a problem, I can always add to that time.
I just didn't think it would take an hour to make a post but it could be that some folks might want to hang out for that long. I'm open for discussion on this.

I believe that only those of us that are full of.... that's, 'hot air', would need it. I use Word Pad then post and spell check.

Re: From another thread!
I do have one request, well it is another request, really, and that is to put the view new posts on each page. I've only seen it on one other forum, though.

Well, in the subsilver2 style anyway. It isn't there in the default prosilver.
BTW! In the prosilver, up on the near-top right there's a hard to see button . That gives you the ability to change the font size.
I'll have to look to see if it's there in the subsilver2 style.
Be right back.

Re: From another thread!
I tend to be permanently logged in - I have the forum minimised whilst I'm doing other things. Presumably that will mean I will get logged out quite frequently. Let's see how it goes.

I clicked the button that says to keep me logged in forever.

If y'all do get logged out let me know and I'll change that. I'm really not sure if that will actually log you out or not.

Re: From another thread!
Hi Hawk, looking pretty good. Two things that I am not too sure about.
1.) How does the the "Change Font Size" button work? Or does it at all?
2.) Is there a more defined way of separating each post? They all seem to somehow "melt" together and it takes a second look sometimes to see where one ends and the next one starts. Perhaps it only needs to getting used to it.

Great point, JSS. They all do seem to run together don't they?

Try the subsilver2 style, which can be found in your User Control Panel.JSS wrote:Hi Hawk, looking pretty good. Two things that I am not too sure about.

Wonderfully easy to read now. Thank you.

It's probably going to take a bit for everyone to play around with the different settings and such before we get used to this new version.
That subsilver2 style is the one I'll most likely be modding for color changes to see if I can get a somewhat reasonable facsimile of the old board. I'm not to crazy about this blue and silver.
Of course the original subsilver2 and the prosilver styles will still be available.

I forgot to answer this question.JSS wrote: 1.) How does the the "Change Font Size" button work? Or does it at all?
Just click on it, but then-it's not there in the subsilver2 theme.
