Hi everyone, I'm new to this forum.
A couple weeks ago I borrowed a copy of Sid Meier's Railrods from a family member and played it for a few days. I found that although it looked nice visually, the gameplay seemed like a watered down version of RT3. That got me thinking of all the good times I've had playing RT3, so I dug up my old CDs and installed it. After surfing the net for patches, I thought I'd see if there were still any active fan sites/forums, and found only a couple of places that didn't seem totally dead. I had forgotten just how old this game is.
Hello everyone
Re: Hello everyone
But we are always in the process of making it seem new again, here!
Welcome to this forum. We've got lots of new content popping up all the time, whether it be new maps, or new mods, or even just comments on strategies and such. While RRT3 is old, it's still a good game, and the general feeling around here is that it plays better, at least, than Railroads.
Hope you find plenty of stuff to increase your enjoyment of this classic!

We are glad to have you join us. This game is very addictive. Which also means it is very fun to play. I have searched through several RT3 websites myself. Personally I think this one is the best. Have fun!

Yes, although RRT3 is now over 6 years old, there's still plenty of people out there who enjoy it. Glad to have you with us.
