Interesting discovery about RT play disc Unread post

I made an interesting discovery and didn't quite know where to post so put it here - Hawk, if you can think of anywhere better, feel free!

I am in the middle of re-vamping a RT2 map for Trainmaster and inadvertently left the RT2 disc in when I clicked on the TM logo - lo and behold, it seems to work! I haven't tested it out properly, but it loads and seems fine so far.

I don't know if this has any practical application whatsoever or is of any use to anybody but I thought you'd like to know!

You shouldn't have to have the cd in the drive to load TM. On my computer TM loads fine with no disk in the drive.

Right, I'll try that - that's probably why, it's just ignoring the RT2 disc!
