So far so good. It's only given me one blink and that could be from the lack of usage and in warming it up. (Hopefully.) **!!!**

I am amazed at how clear this thing is. !*00*! Nothing beats a CRT. !*th_up*! And, I've just been through 5 or 6 LCDs and LEDs wide screen testing them. :salute:

I will be buying that 22" in a month or two as well. !*th_up*!

I have to agree with you Rick. Every LCD I've seen just doesn't compare to a good ol' CRT. ;-)

I disagree but that's a personal preference. Also, I like more desk space and lower energy consumption.

I like my wide screen LCDs as I can park the menu bar out of the way on one side. None of the CRTs I've owned, was as bright, something I like, although the CRT detail was good. None of the CRTs ever failed on me. I have one LCD that quit after about a year. I bought a Kodak printer at about the same time and it failed. Both products of China. MY newest LCD is almost a year old. Maybe I should knock on wood. At least it was not made in China.

Re: HELP!!! My PC is crashing. Unread post

Thought I'd post another update. Something you LCD lovers will like to hear. :salute:
I have a graphics card that'll run about 1,000 miles an hour, (just as an example, btw), and a CRT monitor that runs about 500 miles an hour and, I do notice the difference in load times. {,0,}
Web pages and graphics load quite a bit slower, now. Videos or streams run slower, too. !*th_dwn*!
So, I do have a bottleneck running analog over DVI. **!!!**
It isn't something I can't live with, though... I love my CRT. ::!**!

Conversions always degrade performance, be it analogue-digital or vice versa.

I am glad to hear that you have found a monitor you are happy with. Lcd, crt. What ever it takes. The fact it slows you down doesn't even matter. You are retired. Whats the hurry?

Before you retire, you get paid for overtime. Now all I get is a longer list of things to do.
Maybe I should take a rest and retire from retirement and return to work.
