RT3 on steam and Windows 8.1

I'm new here and wanted to say hello and am thankful i found this site because im an old RT fan from back in the day.
Unfortunately when i bought it from Steam it didn't work.
It works that simple ... but you must do the Engine.cfg update.
This is working on a new icore7 asus motherboard with 32 GB of mem and dual Nvidia 760 gtx with 2GB on board mem.
Using windows 8.1 on steam.
The updated engine.cfg with the T&L box marked allowed me to get into the game and play.
however the game did go blacked out on me when i tried to x the anti aliasing box

Welcome to the forums and that's good to hear that you were able to get the game working.

I remember I used to have to change the file in vista, but then when I tested a beta version of win8 I didn't need to make any changes. Important thing is the game works!
