Running Some test
I found out that the Planet Engine has lost it's driver and tender and wont pick up railcars. The Dorchester works right.

Re: Running Some test
That doesn't make sense since the Planet is coming from the defaults in the game. I am going to look into it and see what's going on.
Re: Running Some test
In all my attempts at Birth of a Nation I never used the Planet so I can't comment on this, but I will check it out if you need the help.

I also found that using the firefly engine causes the game to crash.

Re: Running Some test
The problem with the Planet is that I must have copied the dorchester tender file over top of it, so it is an easy fix; Planet Tender.car file needs to be replaced. Either you can just copy it from another RT3 installation, or I will include it in a patch.
I'm not having any problems with the firefly. Can you be more specific?

When I pick the firefly engine in the game, the game crashes. I did this 3 times in a row.nedfumpkin wrote:I'm not having any problems with the firefly. Can you be more specific?

Re: Running Some test
That shouldn't be happening. This usually means that one of the 3dp files is missing. Since the Firefly is a RT3 locomotive, TM shouldn't be affecting it.
Take a look in the EngineTypes folder, there should be three Firefly files, two ending in car and one ending in lco. They should be dated 2003.

I took another look. I said the wrong engine. it was the Fairlie 0660. I looked and there was 2 files for that engine, a .CAR file and a LCO file.

The Fairlie is crashing for me too. I can't figure out why because it's not something I did anything to. Weird.
