Re: Grafic problems with win 7 and rt3
I have an idea as to why the graphics are bad, and I don't think it's Windows 7. This is a picture from my desktop computer which is running Windows 7. http://i49.tinypic.com/2801po6.jpg This is a picture from my laptop which is also running Windows 7. http://i46.tinypic.com/6tfqix.jpg As you can se...

What does this file do?
In some of the reskins for the rolling stock, I've been noticing a file called .DS Store. What does this do? It isn't referenced in the readme so I'm not sure what to do with it.

Sand Dollars
I was wondering if there is any way to make a sandbox that uses money. I don't want any specific scenarios, I just want to go through time with AI investors making railroads.

Re: Graphics Aren't up to their Settings
I had an idea about this. What if our technology is too advanced for this game. Would it be possible to do some higher resolution textures, or would that help at all?

Re: Graphics Aren't up to their Settings
Yeah, that's exactly the problem milo. If it is a Vista problem, would running it in XP computability mode fix it?
EDIT: Never mind. I just tried that, and it didn't work.

Re: Graphics Aren't up to their Settings
I tried that, and it did not fix the problem. Could the drivers for my 4870 be too modern?

Graphics Aren't up to their Settings
Hello, I reinstalled RT3 a couple of days ago. I put all of the graphics settings on high/ultra high, but the buildings, trains, trees, and everything look really, really sloppy, and the trees look 16 bit. I don't remember them being that bad. I have C2C and 1.06 installed if that helps. My hardware...

Re: File Extraction
Ok, thanks, I just tried that and fired up RRT3 and to my surprise none of the new skins were applied to their repective cars. Every file has been directed to its new home, so i can't figure out why they haven;t taken effect. Any ideas?

File Extraction
Hello All, long time no see!
Anyway, I just downloaded the Express Car skins and it says after the principle files have been extracted, to put everything else into the UserCreated file. Does that also mean the seemingly endless stream of 3DP and IMB files as well?
Thanks!

Layered Rolling Stock Skins
Hey guys, I downloaded the new rolling stock skins yet they do not show up. I previously downloaded a couple of other skins for the passenger car and troop cars. Do I have to delete those skins in order for the new ones to activate? Also, the goods cars and the pulp wood cars aren't showing up with ...

No, I mean that there is a chart of all of the Engines that you can use in the game. Just go to My Computer, Local Disk, Documents and Settings, All Users, Start Menu, Programs, then RRT3. There should be a chart of all of the Locomotives that you can use and the new engines don't show up. Maybe I h...
