You might pre start the AI company. Give it profitable station and some extra dollars and cities close by to expand to.

I haven't been able to figure out how to pre start a company in the scenario I've built using map editor. Is that where I do it? How do I go about it?

I was able to simply overlay the single track with double track. You just have to find a spot where it will start to do it. The end of a line is good. On a straight section is good. Around curves, near bridges and elevation changes it tends not to work

Is there a way to change single track to double track without demolishing the single track?

I created a scenario and have it set to compete against 1 computer opponent. On the first try the computer opponent didn't build track, but bought my stock (I got fired). Would that be the same area where you adjust the sliders to determine the percentages for industries in regions?

I created a map and scenario but cannot figure out how to add cities. I cannot find any info on it in the manual or on the web. I would appreciate any help.
