Re: North America Thru the Centuries

I took a look at your saved game. I can see that you have basically flattened the mountains completely. That's fine. Yes, I did. I just don't care for steep grades nor grades of any kind. Especially since grades do not seem to affect the AIs... I have numerous other reasons for flattening too, but ...

Re: North America Thru the Centuries

PieLam, I am interested how your smoothing turns out. Zip the scenario file up and attach it if you like. I didn't do the complete map, but I did do most of it At first, I ignored Mexico completely then later, I focused smoothing mostly the Eastern part since that is where the only city in Mexico i...

Re: North America Thru the Centuries

I'm more of a player than a map maker, but I will try to explain a little more of what I understand about the territories. Thanx for that post! It has helped a lot, if just to confirm my guesses! !!clap!! Problem is that what you are describing, a problem of "your company cannot purchase right...

Re: North America Thru the Centuries

If you are smoothing the terrain, that's something that I see the need for. Did you find the map rough in the west? Yes, I'm smoothing (sorry, map author). Yes, I found this map to be very rough compared to others I've smoothed. PS Thanx for all the insightful info!! I think it'll provide lots of n...

Help W territories

There HAS to be another way! But what is it ??? I'm playing this map (NATTA for short) in RT3 v1.06 where I need to connect 90 cities for a gold win by the year 2010. I'm in year 1948 and have 86 cities connected (all in the US territory)... The last 4 cities are in the Canada & Mexico territori...

Leave it up to me & my "good" luck! :-)
Just software that gives you a couple more options than the default mouse settings.
Kinda what I figured... Good to have confirmation, never the less!

Re: RT3 running on Windows 7

To add to what I aid above about installing the Logitech software, Thanks for letting me know about this and for the link. When I went to Logitech'a site (about a week ago, now,) I could only find setpoint , not any drivers. I wasn't sure if that's what you meant though, so now I know & I got 6...

Re: RT3 running on Windows 7

Have you tried pressing F9 to run the game in windowed mode? No, but I'll give it a try on my next run, thanx! Don't know if this will help at all, What could it hurt to try, though. maybe you will get some new ideas as to what is causing this issue. I'm not sure but after thinking more about this ...

Re: RT3 running on Windows 7

Try this. When you fire up RT3, go to the Settings selection. Remove the check mark where it says Color Mouse Cursor. See if that helps. If not try removing the check mark for Disable Hardware T & L. OK, going to settins is DOable and I can see all the settings, but W/O a pointer, I cannot chan...

Re: RT3 running on Windows 7

I have 2 Logitech mouses. A regular mouse ( LX3 Optical corded ) and a TrackBall ( Trackman Marble ). Both work without the Logitech drivers but they work better with them. Love my trackball... I like mice too, just not as much as trackballs. 'Course for gaming, I agree mice are much better. On my ...

Re: RT3 running on Windows 7

What negative side affects are you talking about with 1.06? You should read this thread about multiple installs if you want to install 1.06. I forget now what they were exactly, but it was in this thread... I saved it as a text file in case I ever needeed to refer back to it. Let me take a look. I ...
