I too only finished my 'free' student life a year and a half ago, so it seems our age isn't too different bombar. But lets not share our ages with the rest of the folks here :D

Were my building textures used or did I never unpload them onto the ftp? I could look for them if they're needed...

The size of the site is perfect for a 1024 x 768 resolution, and that's the most widely used resolution so don't worry about that Hawk, you're spot on. Font size also perfect  It's funny how everyone's seeing different colours on their monitors, lots of uncalibrated monitors out there. The til...

:D So everyone likes different designs! Make the website brighter (all 3). If you like pink and grey try colours more like this: http://www.hotdogandmustard.com/main.html Or if just grey like in design 1 try adding white like so: http://www.keepsmesane.co.uk/ Get rid of the light blue. I like the fa...

Hi Hawk, Also being a designer/web developer I'm going to be honest so don't take it personally  Design1- Is too grey, maybe it needs a white background. Don’t make the link blue. The font’s a few points too big, make it smaller and maybe that’ll give you room for photos... Design2 - Col...

Hi bombardiere! Sorry I've been away so long, I ran into the same problem Milo did, if you know what I mean

We do need a 3D Blender exporter plugin, it would be useful to make things more 'unique' looking, but I do see your point :D

Did you re-texture the two buildings or setup cargos?

I think we still need a Blender plugin to export 3D models into RRT3. While I was away I did make a lot of blender models, just not for this game. Anyway, I'll be looking out for your work WPandP.

Hi WPandP, I don't remember you but I modded/created a few new buildings back when I was a regular. We (the patch gang) also made some new cargos which you've probably seen around or heard about. Are you more a hex coder person or a texturer (or do you do both)?

Hi to all! :D

That's a negative, I think we were saving the rest for new 3D models, that haven't so far appeared. I think just work with what you've got and get the patch testing started. Sounds like it's 2-3 weeks away, looking forward to it! :D

Still scrambling for time. I really want to get cargo skins and new industries working before the next beta, but may have to surrender one or both. Surrender both if they're holding you back milo. I started the skinning for them far too late, I'm to blame for the beta being late. Anyway guys I'm of...

If you can access it then take a closer look in the rt3_2DDS.PK4 file and look at the files without 2D at the start (further down the list). For example the alcohol_A.dds file is the icon for alcohol

Hawk you're lucky it found some drivers in the first place, I've tried so many times to get it to find new drivers and so far it never has. But on the whole XP Pro SP2 is a great operating system, it's had so many years of service you shouldn't be having problems with it, I'm serious.

Does anyone want to give me a small step-by-step walkthrough? Really what should I do first? I read somewhere that buying industry early is the best way, then just buy track and trains right at the end?
