Yes I have tried Freight Train a few times now, I'm rubbish at RT3, and couldn't get a bronze no matter what strategy I tried. In my last game no building was demanding either rock or coal, so I had to build a cargo port (the one that demands the two cargos) and that wiped out all my cash. I can't p...

Try deleting all the various extras (not patch 1.06), there might be something not compatible, then install one thing at a time, testing everytime. Maybe live without the new buildings and cargos until Milo puts everything together.

What are you two on about? Is this an 'ours is better than yours' thing regarding the health service?

Congrats on quiting. As you know but others might not, the UK's inforcing strict smoking rules - no smoking anywhere near humans - so the timing really couldn't be any better!

Milo we need you more!

I installed it a while ago, and haven't had any problems since, so no reason to uninstall yet.

Well I'm back from my holiday, and it seems nobody's playtested the scenarios yet? Is that true, or am I being dumb?

That's great Ruth, a day too late for me though, I'm off on holiday for a week, so I'll take a look at them the following weekend. But as Milo says, great work. I'm hoping some of the other guys will have time to test them for you. Help Ruth out guys!

For the maps I've created so far I had to flatten areas because of the pesky track breaking bug! Being a visual person (i.e design, textures...) the track being broken on ALL corners where there's a hill is the worst thing possible. So I figured I might as well 'pretend' valleys had been blasted out...

I can't say I've ever used gmax, but I'm also not by any means a pro in Blender. A long time ago I experimented with 3d models for a graphic design thing I was doing, and Blender was the 3d program I chose but never made animations or complex forms. From the sounds of it Bombar you've been soldierin...

Thanks for the info Hawk, it may prove useful one of these days, we just don't know.

Bombar how are you getting on with making new models in blender? Have you got any screenshots you could show?

Use the 3d models, but not the textures. Why, well it's very difficult to spot a 3d model if the texture is new. And yes give credits to the company that made it.

Milo like Hawk says it's up to you. I personally think you shouldn't work on it, it's just too much work for someone to do. Maybe teach Bombar how to make an uninstaller, and then when someone is done with a mod, they can uninstall it easily :)

The loco limit is most likely going to be reached soonest. There are probably enough cargos available in 1.06 to keep any scenario designer happy for a while. Also buildings are difficult to create from scratch, so I doubt we'll reach the limit soon. But there's no saying never, if a few more Bombar...

Don't worry Milo, these guys are creating scenarios that can be released soon after our patch is released. Proof is in the pudding: alongside the patch Pudding2: release it as soon as humanly possible after the real patch is released Unless Ruth you don't mind becoming fluent in German over the next...

Ruth if you can test warehouses and let me know if you get any problems, that will be great. Patch 1.04 was released with a few new scenarios so I see no reason why you can't make yours and release it at the same time as Wolverine :D Wolverine what if we set your scenario in a developing region of t...

Emm, that's a little worrying, it shouldn't be doing that. I've had my two buildings and the new cargos working normally on my machine for a while. Tested with 6 warehouse types, worked fine. I haven't yet tried to use Bombar's Kiln, but I'm sure that's not causing it. Maybe you should wait for Milo...

Thanks Wolverine. I know you've been looking for something to do, so how about you make us a small scenario that will be released alongside the patch, highlighting the new features we have introduced? If you can do that, for now just work on the idea and map design. Do not use the building or cargo ...
