Considering the status of the world, now-a-days, I, personal have no desire to leave the mainland borders anymore.

If I'd won a free trip to Hawaii, I'd sell it.

I'm scared...

LOL Imagine you go to holidays but then the financial status gets worse and you don't get a plane/ship back to America so you must stay on the island for years!
Hawaii isn't very close to America but OK, it's American territory, like American Samoa.

I'm like Grindre, I plan to stay close to the mainland.

But I have been wanting to take my wife to Canada's Victoria.
This city in on an island.

Who voted Cayman Islands? I love Grand Cayman and I'm asking my parents to buy a house there since I'm a child, I would love to have a house there for holidays.
But I don't think that will be a great idea because of the many hurricanes, will it?

Hey Gwizz I'm with you, I went to Victoria last year to visit my nephew, its a lovely place to visit and for you its only a ferry ride away. Hey the best part of the trip will be leaving your umbrella in Seattle it doesn't rain anywhere near as much there as it does on the mainland.
I got up and the world was still here, isn't that wonderful ?

I listed 2, both for their novelty more than anything else. I've been to Dominican Republic and to the Bahamas, and I kinda feel like you've seen one Caribbean island, you've seen 'em all. But I listed Bermuda, because I'd be interested in the history and seeing just what all the triangle fuss is about.

I also listed Cuba, because I think it would be interesting to see just how much natural advantage can be ruined by full-strength socialism.

Yeah, okay, so the fact that Cuba is large enough to have a railroad plays a factor, too, I guess.
