I stumbled across the great train race via a recent video on youtube. A lot of footage of 4 grand steamers running side to side. Figured it was worth a share.

Oh, that. Yep, an annual event over here. It's not really a race, just a fun outing for the day.

I like that you can watch the engines in action from the passenger cars while running alongside. To me that really is the genius of the idea, not the fact it's a "race."
