Locomotive names in 1901

Thought this was interesting. I've just downloaded the complete PDF version of the 1901 Railroad Digest (you can get it here) and the page on wheel arrangements is different to what we are used to.

Apparently, in the US back in 1901, a 4-6-2 was known as a "St. Paul" instead of being called a Pacific. What we call a Mastodon (4-8-0) was just called a Twelve-wheeler, while the name Mastodon was given to a 4-10-0.

A 2-8-2 wasn't called a Mikado back then, but was known as a "Calumet".
