Discovered something new. Unread post

Don't know if anyone else has found this out but apparently if you use the Num pad +/- keys you can control the day/night cycle. I'm currently playing the 1.06 patch so I have no clue it it's due to that or not.

Control it in what way? Speed it up? Change night to day?

You can either increase the speed or reverse it.

Sorry Admiral Halsey, this is nothing new at all.
Have a look into the official manual and you will find

It wasn't that one. I'm talking about actually controlling whether it's night or day.

Hmmm - I think should be more carefully when reading the posts. :-D

You're right ... and the manual is wrong! Or, again, I'm too silly, because I was not able to change the speed (as mentioned in the manual) by means of the '+' or '-' keys.

You can control the games speed with the + and - keys that are above the letter part of the keyboard.

No! "Rien ne va plus!"

I have a swiss german keyboard and - believe me, developing software is my job - there's no way to success ...

Just clarifying.... In the normal cycle, day lasts 1 year and then night lasts 1 year. Are you saying that you can shorten this cycle?

Yes I am. The best part is it doesn't effect the actual speed of the game so if it becomes night and you're trying to build some track you can speed past the night without losing any actual time.
