What stopped you after 372 years? I'm guessing game performance is completely shot, how badly? or do you have a super computer?

0.4FPS and only playabe on pause. then max speed to let it run.
the problem is resource grows as year goes on, so the numers eg oil becomes insanely high like 5,000+ loads available
you can see the corn farms, early in 1900 its like 10 farms, 2422 is around 100 farms.

Some scenarios are coded with reduced production in later years, precisely because of this problem.

Truly insane and fun! I'm going to have to try this some time. I'm playing "beyond win" on Rhodes Unfinished at the moment - see what kind of multi-metropolis I can build in East Africa...
What I love most is that you don't mess about building rails on land any more. Straight across the Gulf of Mexico for your customers! Or all the way from Florida to Connecticut. Especially impressed by the branching suspension bridge west of Miami. Very hard to get the track-laying "AI" to do that.
I guess that at this stage you don't pay any attention to the train arrival messages...
But station congestion must be a nightmare.
