From the Readme:
You can override a newspaper's tertiary headline, title, price, and/or date by setting the event's message type temporarily to 'Choice' and filling in choices 1-4 respectively. If a field is blank, the newspaper will default to its original behavior for that field.
When using this method the main thing is to make sure to set type to Newspaper in the end.
Here's all you never needed to know about limits:
1st Choice: Tertiary headline/Boxed story (80 character limit for entry)
2nd Choice: Title : this displays as capitals (14 character limit before truncating)
3rd Choice: Price (16* lowercase characters before truncating)
4th Choice: Date (25* lowercase characters before truncating)
* Lowercase alphabetical string of: abc.........
As a reference, compare the normal Newspaper Fields (200 character entry limit)
#1 Main Headline : Two lines possible before visually pushing tip of story box off the screen
Each line can hold 33* lower case characters, or 23 "w"'s, or 13 "W"'s per line before overflowing onto a new line.
#2 Main Story : Seven lines are possible with a two-line headline before running off the page, but not aesthetic
Each line can hold 53 "space" characters, 27* lower case characters, 18 "w"'s, or 14 "W"'s per line before overflowing onto a new line.
"Line feeds" : Ctrl+Enter; can be used before or after the Main Story to position as desired.
