Convert RT3 maps to TM

If I start RT3 map, then new industries don't spawn at all :(

Please, advise how to convert RT3 maps to TM maps?

Where do I download the map editor?
I tried using TM Developer's Kit, but I got no idea how to launch it.

Do you mean the map maker as in making maps from tga files? The d/l for that is in the RT3 section.

Or do you mean the map/scenario editor? The is in the same place as in Rt3 under Extras on the main menu in TM and RT3.

If you are look at making a map, might I suggest that you post your idea, the name of map you want to use, and anything else you may want. Especially since this is your first map, and TM map making is a bit different than RT3. This way you can get tips and tricks from people who have different styles of map making.

Edit: another thing, Oilcan's guide is an exceptional resource and most of it applies to TM. http://hawkdawg.com/rrt/rrt3/Xtras/Tips_Tuts_Utils.htm Someday maybe a TM version will be made.
